Trilliums for Your Garden
E Gay Henderson (Hazard Press 1998 Christchurch NZ)
This book was a real find for me at the 2010 Ellerslie Flower Show where Gay Henderson was promoting her book, the result of her thirty years' experience of growing trilliums in New Zealand.
Trilliums for your Garden brings everything you wanted to know about raising trilliums from seed and the growing conditions for success into one easy- to-read volume. The beautiful illustrations by Gay's daughter and the many photographs make it easy to identify the species you have and the ones you want to add to your collection.
Trilliums are the most beguiling of plants native to North America and Asia and are spectacular in the woodland garden, under a tree in the smaller garden, or in a pot. Those of you who have seen drifts of these exotic plants will, as Gay says, enter the wonderful world of trilliums.
If you cannot find this book in your book store you can contact Gay directly by emailing egay_Henderson@hotmail.com
