Gardens Open Singapore, SE Asia

Singapore is a very green city - literally thousands of trees have been planted since the 1960's when a 'green' policy was adpoted. You will appreciate these plantings as they shade the streets of the central city. There are a number of gardens to visit.

Singapore Botanical Gardens
The Singapore Botanical gardens cover 52 hectares and include some notable collections in the 500,000 species grown. The Orchid gardens are lovely and contain many named cultivars grown en masse, in the crevices of trees and, you will feel, just everywhere.
