Willow Glen Gardens
1.0ha (2.5 acres) of fascinating, landscaped gardens and tropical houses overlooking lush Waikato countryside. Flowering cherries, camellias, rhododendrons, fuchsias, roses and a vast collection of shrubs and perennials set amongst mature trees, manicured lawns and water features.

Woodlands Historic Homestead & Gardens
2.5 ha of gardens and a further 4.0ha of reserve. Roses, perennials and trees in informal setting.

The Garden
The Garden is at its best in August with daffodils, magnolias, bluebells and rhododendons. Later in November roses and perennials make a lovely display. Developed as a series of rooms, with each room leading into the nest. Part of a vineyard property, wine tasting is also available.

Tapuwae

Tapuwae, Te Kuiti

Tapuwae
Large country garden of 3.5 hecatres (8 acres) at 500 metres (1800 feet) above sea level. Bulbs, perennials, rhododendrons, camellias, flowering cheries and maples together with New Zealand native plants make this a plantsman's garden. Wonderful views over surrounding farmland. Streams and ponds attract birdlife.

Siesta Orchard
A large, rambling country garden developed from a cottage garden. Perennials are planted in raised gardens bordered with pongs (tree fern) and rockes. Orchids grow in a shade house and under citrus trees. Orchard walks can be arranged.

Chiddingfold Garden, Cambridge
Almost 8 hectares (17 acres) of historic plantings dating from 1873 and newer plantings commencing 1936. Native trees, roses in summer, camellias from May until October, a picking garden, and more in this lovely garden set in the Waikato countryside.

5-acre water garden with a wide variety of plants, birds and water features. Waterfalls, waterwheels and fountains and historical machinery add to the atmosphere.

The Poplars
A large country garden of 1.25 hectares (3 acres) which has featured on television. Water features, sunken formal garden, bog garden and bush walks. Mature exotic and New Zealand native form a backdrop to 800 roses in summer. Daffodils, camellias, and roses are specialities.
