Corinda
The owners have restored Corinda's formal gardens. Harmony and tranquility are themes of the colour coordinated borders and parterres; there are pleached limes and box topiary featuring native Australian animals give a very local feel to this unique garden.

Facilities- Plants for Sale, Gift Shop, Accomodation Directions- From the Airport take the Tasmanian Highway in the direction of Hobart, go around the roundabout and turn left at the Aquatic Centre, then turn left and then right into Glebe St.

Corinda

Woolmers Estate
Established by Thomas Archer in 1840, the walled garden is being restored using trees, shrubs, roses and perennials from that period.

Tasmanian Arboretum
A beautiful garden of 58 hectares with wonderful trees in a landscaped setting. Many rare and endangereed Tasmanian plants.

Royal Tasmanian Botanic Gardens
Views over the Derwent River and new interactive Discovery Centre.Extensive collection of conifers and specialist collections of New Zealand, Japanese, Chinese as well as Australian and Tasmanian plants.

Runnymede
Old established (1850's) garden around historic house with many lovely trees and plants in spacious lawns and grounds.

Open- 10.00 am to 4.30pm Monday to Friday, 12.00 noon -4.30pm Saturday and Sunday

Brickendon Gardens
Huge old rose collection (over 180 varites), plus annuals and perennials aound Georgian colonial homestead. Oaks, cedars and elms dating from the garden's establishment.
